Java Plug-In Problem
Recently, we found a problem that disallows CryptoMail Email Client to be loaded in Netscape 6 with Java Plug-in 1.3.1 or higher in Windows NT with Service Pack 6.
Users were unable to run CryptoMail Email Client applet without administrator right. If you try to run our CryptoMail Email Client, you will not be able to see the email client applet. Instance, you only see the Java Applet window showing "Loading Java" message. This problem does not occur, when you are logging on as Administrator or a user with administrator right. In addition, this problem only occurs under Windows NT with Service Pack 6.
After testing and fact finding about the problem, we believed that it is caused by the Service Pack 6. You will need to up date your Windows NT to Service Pack 6a with the hot-fix from Microsoft, if you are currently using Service Pack 6. For more information about the Service Pack, you can found it from Microsoft.com knowledge base, article Q245678.
No Binary Distribution
CryptoMail.org is no longer distributing our CryptoMail Email Server binary distribution, because the binary distribution might not be able to configure itself to work with the third party (MySQL or Sendmail) software installation in your system. You will need to download the source code, configure, compile and install to your server.
